On September 26, the 13th Standing Committee (Eighth Session) of the Hubei Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) was held in Xiaogan, where the 2025 Hubei Top 100 Private Enterprises list was officially released. This is the 15th consecutive year that Hubei has published this ranking.
In 2024, a total of 983 enterprises across the province, each with operating revenue above 20 million yuan, participated in the survey. The entry threshold for the 2025 list reached 4.03 billion yuan. The Top 100 enterprises reported total operating revenue of 1.66594 trillion yuan, with 41 companies surpassing 10 billion yuan in revenue. Twenty-seven companies expanded overseas, generating US$8.2 billion in overseas income.
The top ten companies are Zall Smart Commerce Group, Jointown Pharmaceutical Group, Hengxin Auto Group, Daohuaxiang Group, King Ao Technology (Hubei) Chemical, Motorola (Wuhan) Mobility, JD.com Wuhan Century Trade, Camel Group, Guohua Life Insurance, and Chengli Automobile Group. Chengli has entered the province’s top ten private enterprises for the first time, underscoring its strong growth in the specialized vehicle sector and marking a new stage in both specialized vehicle manufacturing and international market expansion.
In 2024, the Top 100 enterprises filed 5,116 domestic patent applications, including 2,735 invention patents, and invested 20.89 billion yuan in R&D. Their total tax contribution reached 55.64 billion yuan, and they created nearly 400,000 jobs, fully demonstrating the innovative vitality and social responsibility of Hubei’s private economy.
